How to Install APK in Fire TV / Fire TV Stick?

This tutorial is for Fire TV devices using Android‑based Fire OS with Developer Options available. 

It does not apply to newer Fire TV Stick models running Vega OS.

Note: 

Kaeri TV APK can only be installed on Fire TV devices that still use Android‑based Fire OS and support APK sideloading.

Newer Fire TV Stick models using Vega OS (for example, Fire TV Stick HD 2026, Fire TV Stick 4K Select 2025 and future models) do not support APK installation, so Kaeri TV cannot be used on these devices.

Suggested list:

Fire TV Stick 4K Max (2nd Gen, 2023)

Fire TV Stick 4K Plus (2025)

Earlier Fire TV / Fire TV Stick models that still use Android‑based Fire OS and allow sideloading APKs

Fire TV OS has a Developer Options menu in the Settings app, which contains the settings for Android Debug Bridge (ADB) and sideloading applications. Both of those features are important for installing apps not available on the Amazon Appstore or even installing third-party app stores. The Developer Options menu used to always be visible in the Settings, but Amazon is rolling out an update to some models that hides it by default.

1. Unhide Developer Options on Fire TV / Fire TV Stick

You just have to navigate to Settings > My Fire TV > About, and then keep clicking the device name until you see a “You are now a developer” popup. After that, the Developer Options menu shows up like normal.

2. Install "Downloader by AFTVnews"

You can install this convenient app "Downloader by AFTVnews" from Google Play Store. Downloader by AFTVnews

3. Downloader Allow File Storage Permission

You will be asked to grant file access. Select Allow.

(If you accidentally selected Deny, then you need to go to Settings > Applications > Manage Installed Applications > Downloader > Permissions to set Storage to Allow.)

4. Install Kaeritv.APK using "Downloader by AFTVnews"

Please enter the download link we provided in the main screen or the "Browser" tab of the Downloader by AFTVnews app.

5. Log in and Watching TV!

After installing the Kaeri TV.APK, tap the icon and log in as shown.

Please use your remote control to select "User Center."

> Two buttons will appear—press the right-side button labeled "Login."

> Then, enter your account and password, and press "Login" again to continue.
